Bhakti Kutir

Bhakti Kutir has been run as a sustainable resort for about 30 years. We make many of our needs on site, from natural cleaning products to most of the food served in the restaurant, and we prefer low-tech, low-maintenance systems that last. To keep impact on the jungle minimal we avoid unnecessary clearing, manage organic waste through composting and reuse, and favour simple fixes over constant replacements. We work with local suppliers and practitioners so value stays in the nearby community, and our day to day choices are guided by what keeps the land healthy and usable for the long term.
