Bhakti Kutir has evolved as a sustainable retreat over nearly 30 years, working with local, low-impact systems that rely on what we can grow or source nearby; we make our meals, natural cleaning products, even coconut-milk and millets from the land, and favour composting, reuse and organic waste management to keep the jungle healthy and diverse. Since 1996 we’ve built our low-tech infrastructure to endure with minimal maintenance, helped the forest regenerate, and kept value local by partnering with nearby suppliers and practitioners. It’s not about statements or labels. it’s a day-to-day commitment to a place that sustains itself and supports those who come here to slow down and be present.
