Orchard Glamping Retreat
Description
A wild orchard with a towering canopy of mango, avocado and citrus provides the ambiance for our location. Five well-appointed glamping tents with twin beds, electricity, fan and optional air conditioning pair with three indoor casitas (with air conditioning) to provide accommodations for a comfortable 14 persons.
A giant, stone handcrafted building is our communal center and industrial kitchen. The natural stone is a powerful force here, and along with it comprising much of our architecture, the orchard as well is dotted with monolithic boulders that inspire awe. Our large pool is fed from the natural spring that flows nearby, El Ojo de Agua, the eye of the water, and made of insulating stone. It is the Ojo de Agua, as well, that nourishes the orchard.
We are remote, and yet ensconced in a magical Mexican pueblo. Cattle, horses and goats wander in the arroyo at our backgate, where water runs year-round. Music and birdsong lilt through the trees most days. A large opening in the orchard provides a circle for group activities under the cathedral-like trees. In addition, a tiled roofdeck is ample space for groups to assemble and a beautiful spot for sunrise yoga or stargazing.
This property is ideal for groups who wish to reconnect with nature. We are an environmentally responsible operation, providing everything you need during your stay to eliminate single-use plastics. Additionally, all of our grey water nourishes the vibrant green that surrounds us, and is a rare respite in Baja. Our pueblo is known for regional sweets, and many shops offer these sweets, and delicious empanadas, on the street nearby. We are a beautiful blend of joy in communion with others, and plenty of space to step away and have reflection time alone.
