Eco-Retreat in the South of Crete

Our Eco Village is located above the quiet, subtropical valley of Tertsa, facing the Lybian Sea, on the southern side of the island of Crete.
It is a place created with mindfulness and attention to detail. A place of healing, wild plants, sun and peace. Set high in the mountains, with beautiful views of the sea, surrounded by banana trees and rocky cliffs – the perfect place to find peace of mind.
Tertsa village is a hidden treasure for those seeking a true retreat from the fast-paced modern world.
In Tibetan the word “Tertsa” translates to “Ter” (treasures) and “Tsa” (channel), which describes beautifully the energy of the place – a place to rediscover the treasures nature holds and ultimately the treasures that reside within you.

Tertsa’s lush valley and beachfront location offer the best of Crete: a life in harmony with nature, generous hospitality, a slow-paced lifestyle and the luminous Lybian Sea.
The surrounding Dikti Mountains protect the small valley from the cold north wind, making Tertsa, with around 320 sunny days per year, one of the warmest places in Europe.

We are located only a 10-15 minute walk from the village and the beach.

Our huts are made of wood, bamboo and fabric. They are designed to be double rooms (twin beds). In these huts we can accommodate 14 people. The place is built with what the surrounding nature is offering, opening a possibility for you to fully connect and submerge in its beauty, giving you a truly unique experience.

Our concept is to be as close to nature as possible. The entire place is run by solar system and a wood burning hot water heater.
Facilities, as well as an outdoor shower, are built near the tiny houses.
The kitchen/community area and common toilets are cleaned every day. The rooms are not cleaned for shorter retreats, whilst for longer retreats we offer change of bedding, towels and cleaning of the bedrooms.

On our compounds we have a 60sqm platform, covered with a bamboo roof, designed to hold Retreats and Workshops for up to 20 people.
Beautiful views over the sea, mountains and our banana garden offer space to let go and be inspired.
