Looking for an idyllic rural escape, or the perfect location for your next retreat? Whether you wish to facilitate workshops aplenty, dance your hearts out or simply succumb to tranquility and stillness, gather your tribe and head to our farm for a memorable countryside break in the heart of rural Herefordshire. Here, just a stones throw from the rolling Malvern hills, you can relax in a beautiful 14th century sprawling Farmhouse, with quaint period features, oil fired central heating, established, private gardens, a BBQ and your very own hot tub.
The property boasts 7 bedrooms in all offering a number of configurations to sleep 15 – 20 depending on your individual requirements. There are a total of 3 bathrooms spread over 2 floors and a further, 4th, w/c with a washbasin on the ground floor. Luxury feather bedding, plump pillows, sumptuous percale bed linen and fluffy cotton towels are provided for each guest.
On the first floor you will find the decadent Master bedroom, complete with Superking bed, ample storage and ensuite. Bedroom 2 is a generous family sized room, containing 2 single beds and a large superking bed, which can be separated to form a further 2 singles.
Bedroom 3 contains a double bed and an additional single bed. On this floor you will also find the family bathroom, with freestanding bath, shower, and his and hers basins. The w/c is conveniently housed in an adjacent space for ease of access.
On the top floor you will find the remaining 4 bedrooms as well as another bathroom, with shower, basin and w/c. Bedroom 4 has stunning sloping ceilings with exposed beams and a welcoming superking bed, which can be easily separated to make 2 singles.
Bedroom 5 contains a double bed and a sofa bed, which can sleep 2 more. Bedroom 6 is our infamous ‘Mr Men’ room, a unique little bedroom featuring a double bed and fantastic retro Mr Men wall paper that is over 50 years old
The final large bedroom on the top floor, Bedroom 7, has a superking size bed at one end, which can be split to form 2 singles, and a cosy little snug at the other end. The snug has 2 comfy sofas, one of which converts to a small double bed, and is a perfect space for watching movies or as a chill out area away from the main living room downstairs
After a restful nights sleep, pour a glass of fresh juice or make use of the coffee machine and enjoy a tasty breakfast in the kitchen or out on the patio, while you contemplate the day ahead. The farm is set in 400 acres, much of which has been rewilded, offering ample opportunity for foraging and countryside strolls through meadows and woodland accessible directly from your doorstep.
The garden offers outdoor workshop space with wonderful views and plenty of room to erect small structures. Should you wish to extend your outdoor space, the adjoining meadows can be utilized too. The main living spaces indoors are large enough to facilitate workshops such as meditation, crafting and sharing circles. Should you require greater indoor space, then our beautiful 2 storey converted granary building is located close by and is the perfect way to fulfil your needs. Downstairs is fully kitted out with a sound system, lights and decor, perfect for ecstatic dance, movement medicine and generally letting loose. Upstairs is an oak-beamed, open plan area, that can be used as a chill out space or to host yoga classes or sound baths.
For guests wishing to enjoy some downtime between sessions, the pretty town of Malvern is just 15min away by car. Here you will find quaint tea rooms, book stores and thrift shops. Malvern is famous for its freshly available healing spring water and the beautiful beacon offering glorious panoramic views. For those who do not wish to leave the farm, chill out in one of the garden hammocks with a good book, or slip into the hot tub for ultimate relaxation
However you choose to spend your time, at the end of the day its time to sink into a sofa and put your feet up as you get comfy in front of the fireplace and enjoy a well earned cup of cacao. The beautiful lounge features comfortable seating, a smart TV, a sound system and patio doors leading out into the garden.
When tummies rumble, cook up a storm in the well equipped kitchen, where you will find a full size fridge-freezer, a hob, oven, grill and everything you need to create a tasty feast. Serve your culinary delights in the large, oak beamed, dining room. Eat in front of a roaring fire if its chilly outside, or throw open the patio doors on a warm summers eve. After dinner it’s time to break out the board games or venture outside to toast marshmallows around the firepit as you marvel at the fantastic starscapes surrounding the farm
Outside the house there is plenty of room to park and in the enclosed back porch you will find utility essentials including a washing machine and tumble dryer. A shed in the corner of the courtyard houses pre cut firewood and for those that are inclined, an adjoining outbuilding hosts a games room with a pool table and a dartboard.
We are a dog friendly site and happy to welcome 2 well behaved pooches (3 upon special request).
