AltaVista Lodge is located in the charming town of Praia da Luz, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Guests can enjoy close proximity to both the South and West coastlines, while the lodge’s laid-back atmosphere and beautiful facilities provide the perfect setting for retreats and group getaways in the Western Algarve.

The lodge is particularly well suited for Surf, Yoga, Wellness, and Adventure Retreats, as well as private group bookings.

Their covered Yoga Studio (8m x 6m) accommodates up to 16 guests, with additional uncovered outdoor space available for larger groups. They also offer a dedicated yoga garden and poolside terraces suitable for 20+ participants.

Yoga mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, and resistance bands are provided. The studio can also be used for workshops, group discussions, meetings, and other wellness activities.

Guests can enjoy access to a massage room where their in-house masseuse offers a variety of treatments, as well as an infrared sauna and indoor bubble pool for relaxation. Ice baths and sound bath sessions are also available upon request.

They provide a range of additional services including airport transfers, catering, local activities, car hire assistance, and retreat promotion across their platforms.

Their thoughtfully designed social spaces include a large lounge area with an indoor bubble pool, pool table, table tennis, dart board, and indoor games, creating a welcoming and social atmosphere. Outside, guests can relax around the swimming pool, hammocks, landscaped gardens, sea-view terraces, and private bar facilities — ideal for enjoying the Algarve lifestyle in complete comfort and privacy.

Their covered yoga studio also serves as an ideal space for daily classes, workshops, and meetings, with all yoga equipment included.

The rooms are bright, airy, and designed for comfort, featuring quality beds, crisp linens, and private bathrooms or shower rooms — perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure and activities.

Their in-house hosts, who live on separate premises within the property, are available 24/7 if needed and are always happy to share local recommendations and support guests throughout their stay.

Catering is not included in the accommodation price but can be arranged in advance. They work with talented local chefs who provide healthy and delicious meals at affordable prices, making them a perfect addition to any retreat experience.

Lunches and dinners can also be organised at nearby seaside restaurants in Praia da Luz or Lagos.

Praia da Luz is only a 15-minute walk away, and Faro Airport is approximately one hour by car. Airport transfers can be arranged upon request, while taxis and Uber services are affordable and easily available in the area.

Lagos town centre is only a 7-minute drive away and offers a vibrant atmosphere, beautiful beaches, historic streets, and lively nightlife.

They also recommend renting a car during the stay to fully explore the surrounding beaches and both Atlantic coastlines.
