Frederique Peutz

I lived in Italy where i became an expert gardener and ran my own garden center for twenty years. In 2017 i moved to the Moulin Scalagrand where i started my own permaculture farm and table d’hotes. My dream is to become totally self-sufficient and lead a sustainable life respecting nature, which in many ways I have just about realized. In my journey of learning, directly engaging with the land, and with the support of my family, friends and local community, I have cultivated a vegetable garden, two food forests, a natural pool and much more. At the Moulin Scalagrand i offer workshops on permaculture, intuitive cooking with wild plants, wild foraging, fermenting vegetables, soap making and more. I would like to serve as an inspiration to people who are aligning with a philosophy of a back-to-basics life-style and give back to my local community by means of exchange, solidarity and care for each other and the environment.
